Donations

Brampton’s Historic Bovaird House is a non-profit organization. We are comprised of dedicated volunteers who donate their time and skills to preserve a beautiful and important piece of Canadian history.

The Friends of Bovaird House welcome all those who are interested in the promotion of our local heritage!

How Your Donations Can Help

Forgotten Treasures:

We accept donations of historically pertinent objects dating from approximately 1840 – 1900, such as furniture, linens, utensils, artifacts, tools, and toys. Any vintage or antique items that would further enhance the character and heritage of this farmhouse are welcome. Please Contact Us if you have objects of interest. No anonymous drop-offs, please.

Charitable receipts issued upon request.

Financial Support:

We do not charge admission at Historic Bovaird House. Visits and tours with us are free! However, we welcome any and all contributions to our Donation Box, or private gifts of financial support.

Patronage:

We cordially invite you to attend one of our exclusive special events throughout the year:

Desserts by Lamplight (March)
Mother’s Day Tea (May)
Loaf & Ladle Pioneer Suppert (October)
Victorian Christmas Open House (December)

Please visit Coming Events for dates, ticket prices, and additional information.

Because these seasonal events are organized and staffed entirely by volunteers, dates and availability are limited. We urge you to reserve your tickets as early as possible. Don’t miss out on any of these locally anticipated occasions, and please visit our Carriage House Gift Shoppe for unique gifts and historical souvenirs
